Dynamic List Data Binding Custom Component

It would be SUPER helpful if I could bind a dynamic list from a connected data source to a custom component. We have a custom component which implements a list input and a custom structured data model which allows of N number of items in a list. I'd like to be able bind the connected data to the components input list and repeat for each item in the list.
